A virtuoso multi-instrumentalist and award winning songwriter with a distinctive voice, Molly has turned the heads of even the most seasoned industry professionals. She began performing on stage when she was 11, and recorded her first album, The Old Apple Tree, at age 13. Since then, she’s appeared on A Prairie Home Companion and at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, was featured on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, won first place in the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Competition at Merlefest, and, last May, graduated from the Berklee College of Music, which she attended on a Hazel Dickens Memorial Scholarship. Her lovely voice, impeccable guitar playing, and sensitive song writing make her a star on the rise. She has already received more than two million YouTube views and has recently released two EP's with The Goodbye Girls and as a duo with John Mailander. This fall she went into the studio to record an album of eleven original songs. This highly-anticipated album, set for release in 2016, is a culmination of her bluegrass roots, her studies at Berklee College of Music and, most recently, her move to Nashville Tenessee. The Molly Tuttle Band also features John Mailander and Wes Corbett, two highly accomplished string musicians who have made names for themselves in the acoustic music world. John is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, composer and fellow Berklee graduate who is known for his soulful voice on fiddle and mandolin. He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as the Allison Brown Quartet, Victor Wooten, Tim O’brien, and Christopher Guest. Wes served as the professor and grant manager of the banjo program at Berklee College of Music between 2011-2015 and toured internationally with critically acclaimed acoustic string band Joy Kills Sorrow until 2014. His incredible technical prowess and fresh approach to the banjo make him one of the most exciting players on the scene today. The Molly Tuttle Band has dazzled audiences across the country with their energetic live performances and original take on roots music.
