Stephenson has been at the helm of the Larry Stephenson band since 1989. He was inducted into the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996 and has been named SPGBMA male vocalist of the year. He also received IBMA Recorded Event of the Year awards in 2010. SPGMA Album of the Year honors went to the band in 2015 for their recording “Pull Your Savior In”. He’s got his own record label and an extensive recording career.
Looking forward to our get together! I plan to add my 27 years of leading a band and 40 years of being in Bluegrass with the ups & downs I've faced. There have been many! One hour is not going to be long enough but we should touch on not only the music but the travel, having fun on stage, finding the right people to work with, etc. I don't think we'll have any trouble with these topics and many more.
