A 2017 Leadership Bluegrass alumnus, Justin Hiltner is the social media director for the Bluegrass Situation, curating content for more than 250,000 followers across their channels. He covers bluegrass for BGS, writing the columns "That Ain't Bluegrass," "Shout & Shine," and more. An accomplished banjo player, Justin has performed with artists such as Roland White, Laurie Lewis, Jim Lauderdale, Marlene Twitty-Fargo and more - at venues such as ROMP, FreshGrass, and the Grand Ole Opry. In 2016 he was nominated for the Instrumentalist Momentum Award.
