Educated as an artist, after a career in software development Philip Graham committed to his gear tinkering and founded the microphone company Ear Trumpet Labs. Dedicated to the craft building of great sounding visually stunning mics, the company has grown in six years from his basement to a small workshop with five employees, largely due to the adoption of their mics by many of the top performers in bluegrass. Philip continues to evolve the designs and production, and runs the business with his daughter Malachi.
