The Mando Shop is a boutique mandolin store representing Collings, Eastman, Northfield, TKD and Weber mandolins. I've been a luthier since the mid-1970s, and perform a high precision setup on each mandolin. My mandolin is the TKD, as in Timothy Kyle Dunn. I tap tune the top of each TKD mandolin to improve volume and sustain, increase overtones and make the mandolin more responsive.
