Today’s presentation will be from directors and students of university-level bluegrass programs in Kentucky, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Ohio and North Carolina. This will be a great opportunity for prospective students and their parents to hear about bluegrass higher education programs, and to ask questions from directors as well as student band members.
Following brief presentations on the details of each college bluegrass program, we’ll enjoy some live music from some of their top student bands. Educators will come away from today’s session inspired with new ideas for their own programs focused on bluegrass and related types of roots music.
