The Power of Language

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A few great writers will lead this interactive session using exercises and games to help people improve how they tell their stories - whether that be a band bio, a festival description, or a press release. We'll look at how to avoid drastically over-used phrases ('hard-driving' as opposed to ‘songs crackle with the unpredictability of a divorced man, a bottle of whisky and and loaded pistol.’). We'll demonstrate how less is more when it comes to language.
